Tēnā koutou.
Born in Tāmaki Makaurau under the eye of Maungawhau, raised in theatres over Te Waihorotiu, and reared by tauiwi whose English and Swiss ancestors came to Aotearoa via ocean and sky, I am Indigo Cody Tollemache Paul.
I love telling stories that matter under the moon and the sun, stories that matter to mothers and meat-eaters, to the long-dead and to those yet to be born.
Sometimes my role in the process is writing words on a page; sometimes it is speaking others’ words aloud, to an audience or a mic; sometimes it is supporting the kaupapa of other writers – feeding back on scripts via discussion and written reports.
